Al Baraka Bank Egypt's consolidated financial statements showed a 36% year-on-year increase in profits for 2024. The bank reported a net profit of 3.005 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 2.21 billion pounds in 2023, after accounting for minority rights.
Net income from returns also increased to 5.99 billion pounds, up from 4.37 billion pounds in the previous year.
On an unconsolidated basis, the bank's net profit rose to
3.011 billion pounds, compared to 2.22 billion pounds in 2023.
For the period from January to the end of September 2024, Al Baraka Bank Egypt's net profit reached 2.22 billion pounds, compared to 1.6 billion pounds during the same period in 2023, again after accounting for minority rights. Net income from returns for these nine months increased to 4.39 billion pounds, from 3.23 billion pounds in the same period last year.
