Housing Ministry, Big Global discuss urban development in new cities

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny held discussions with representatives of BIG Global regarding potential collaborations in urban development. The meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, was attended by key officials from both the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the full support from the Ministry of Housing, in coordination with various relevant authorities, to increase partnership with the private sector in project implementation, particularly concerning the localization of industries to meet local market needs.

El-Sherbiny reviewed the different generations of new cities, including fourth-generation cities, most notably the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein, and New Mansoura, and the projects that have been and are being implemented in these cities.

BIG Global representatives conveyed their satisfaction with the meeting and showcased their global work in several cities around the world since 2015, working in housing, administrative buildings, towers, hotels, sports facilities, security systems, integrated urban communities, city planning, low-cost building construction, experiences in utilizing various spaces at work sites, and developing sustainable infrastructure.
