Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk began a series of field visits to tax centers and directorates to monitor the implementation of the tax incentives package and work to resolve any problems that may arise during its application.
During his visit to the Major Taxpayers Center in 6th of October City and the Manial and Old Cairo tax directorates, the Minister stressed the importance of facilitating procedures for taxpayers and communicating directly with them, expressing his optimism about the cooperation between the Tax Authority and taxpayers.
Kouchouk addressed a message to taxpayers, emphasizing the
Ministry's support for them and that the goal is to build an effective tax
system that encourages investment. He pointed out that the evaluation of the
incentives package will be conducted by independent parties to measure taxpayer
satisfaction.
The Minister explained that the Ministry will launch
successive packages of tax incentives, aimed at simplifying procedures and
achieving tax certainty for taxpayers.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Tax Policies Sherif
El-Kilany affirmed that these field visits confirm the Ministry's commitment to
the accurate implementation of tax incentives.
Head of the Tax Authority Rasha Abdel-Aal indicated that the Authority is working to provide everything that motivates taxpayers to benefit from the tax incentives.
