Suez Authority recovers EGP130 million lands

Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, head of the New Suez City Authority, said that a large-scale campaign has been launched to reclaim encroached lands, with support from the General Administration of Construction Police and the Suez Security Directorate. The campaign resulted in the recovery of an area of ​​123,938 square meters, with a total value estimated at 130 million Egyptian pounds.

The campaign comes as part of the implementation of the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to monitor investment lands in new cities, provide new investment opportunities, and preserve state lands.

Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf emphasized that various forms of support are being provided to serious investors, as these lands represent a promising opportunity for establishing investment projects that serve development goals and provide new job opportunities.

The Authority's Chairperson added that these efforts aim to maximize the use of land, supporting the national economy and enhancing New Suez City's position as a distinguished investment destination. She emphasized that the Authority is committed to providing all necessary facilities to investors who adhere to the laws and regulations governing the project.
