Japan expressed its deep respect and appreciation for the Egyptian government's strides in macroeconomic reform. This commendation came from Oka Hiroshi, the Japanese Ambassador to Cairo, following his meeting with Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance.
The ambassador emphasized the
strategic significance of Egyptian-Japanese relations, highlighting the growing
interest of Japanese companies in investing in Egypt as the country's
macroeconomic climate strengthens.
The Japanese Embassy in Cairo
announced that Ambassador Oka Hiroshi and Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk
agreed during their meeting to bolster bilateral relations, with a particular
focus on economic cooperation. Joining the meeting were Kato Ken, Chief
Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) office in
Egypt, and Asano, President of the Japan Business Association (JBA).
Minister Kouchouk emphasized Egypt's strong partnership with Japan, commending their multi-faceted development cooperation. He also reaffirmed the Egyptian government's commitment to implementing reforms to foster a business-friendly climate and attract further investment.
