Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, arrived at Beijing International Airport Tuesday. On behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Madbouly will participate in the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit, which is being held from September 4-6 in Beijing, China. Upon his arrival, the Prime
Minister was received by Sun Yili, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the
People's Republic of China, as well as Assem Hanfi, Egypt's Ambassador to
China, and Liao Liqiang, China's Ambassador to Egypt. The reception was warm
and welcoming, featuring cultural performances and the presentation of a
bouquet of flowers.
Madbouly will attend the
opening session of the 9th FOCAC, a number of high-level sessions, and will
deliver a keynote speech at a session titled "Industrial Transformation,
Agricultural Modernization, and Green Development."
On the sidelines of the summit, the prime minister is scheduled to hold several meetings with Chinese and African officials, as well as with representatives of prominent Chinese companies, including those operating in the Egyptian market. Madbouly is also expected to witness the signing of a number of important documents related to new or existing investments.
