Investment Authority, Media sign protocol of cooperation

Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Dina Abdel Fattah, Chairperson of Excellent D&N for Advertising, Public Relations, and Exhibition Organization, a subsidiary of United Media Services, signed a cooperation protocol to enhance awareness, marketing, and investment promotion in Egypt.

The signing ceremony was attended by Amr El Feki, CEO of United Media Services, and Lamia Mokhtar, advisor to the CEO of the Authority.

The protocol outlines a collaborative effort between the two parties to amplify the Authority's ongoing initiatives to improve the business and investment climate in Egypt. By raising awareness, promoting, and marketing these efforts locally, regionally, and internationally, the collaboration aims to bolster the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy on a global scale.

Excellent D&N will collaborate with the Authority to develop and execute a comprehensive awareness and promotional campaign for investment in Egypt, utilizing a variety of media channels and tools. This campaign will align with the government's key economic priorities, including empowering the private sector as a growth catalyst, increasing employment rates, creating job opportunities, and achieving the Authority's primary objective of "investment for export."

Dina Abdel Fattah emphasized that Excellent D&N will leverage its extensive expertise in organizing media and marketing campaigns, both domestically and internationally, to highlight the substantial improvements in Egypt's investment climate. These advancements encompass infrastructure, procedures, and legislation designed to support investors.

Amr El Feki noted that United Media Services will employ its diverse media platforms and subsidiaries to create content supporting the investment climate and portraying the positive developments within the Egyptian economy. He highlighted that United Media Services comprises 49 companies operating across various media sectors, including television channels, television and film production companies, newspapers, news websites, social media marketing agencies, and conference organization firms.

Hossam Heiba announced that the Authority will regularly provide United Media Services and its subsidiaries with relevant investment information, including updates on new investments and improvements in laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to Egypt's investment climate. He emphasized that this collaboration will contribute to fostering a genuine investment culture among citizens, accurately portraying Egypt's investment climate to the global community, and highlighting the cultural elements that support investment. Notably, Egyptian civilization has a rich history of pioneering investment and manufacturing activities.
