Madbouly: Egypt-Saudi pact boosts joint investments

Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly presided over today's Cabinet meeting in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting focused on a range of critical topics and files.

The Prime Minister opened the session by highlighting several significant events and initiatives undertaken by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. A notable example was the recent Egyptian-Saudi summit, held in Cairo yesterday with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized that the recent Egyptian-Saudi summit was held at a crucial time, given the current regional challenges and the need for coordinated efforts. To address the delicate situation in the region, the two leaders established the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council, chaired by the President and the Saudi Crown Prince. They also signed an agreement aimed at promoting and protecting mutual investments between the two countries.

Dr. Madbouly highlighted that the agreement to promote and protect mutual investments between Egypt and Saudi Arabia would bolster and expand joint ventures in both countries. He noted the numerous promising areas for collaboration, including renewable energy, and emphasized the need to swiftly implement the President's directives regarding the agreed-upon initiatives. This is essential for achieving the shared goal of expanding cooperation and realizing the mutual benefits for both nations.
