Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly confirmed on Saturday that fuel prices would remain unchanged for the next six months.
In a statement, he said that the
government is forced to gradually move fuel prices until the end of 2025. He
added that the government is trying to minimize the impact on citizens, while
the state bears the brunt of the cost. The government is taking into
consideration the needs of low- and middle-income groups.
Madbouly has visited the Minya
Governorate to inspect a wastewater treatment plant in Bartabat village, west
of Maghagha. This plant is part of the presidential initiative 'Decent Life',
which aims to improve the quality of life in rural Egypt.
During the inspection, he emphasized the importance of sanitation projects in achieving 'Decent Life' goals. He noted that the government is working to expand sanitation services to all villages in Egypt, particularly in rural areas and disadvantaged regions.
