Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and International Trade, embarked on a significant visit to Turkey today, Monday. The visit aims to strengthen trade and investment ties between the two countries through intensive meetings with high-level officials, business leaders, and representatives from various industry associations.
The visit aims to introduce the
Turkish business community to the investment opportunities and capabilities in
Egypt. It also showcases the measures and procedures adopted by the Egyptian
government in fiscal, monetary, and trade policies to facilitate investors and
streamline the export and import system, to attract more Turkish investments and
increase bilateral trade.
The Minister is scheduled to
participate in the 40th session of the COMCEC, the Standing Committee for
Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
He will also meet with his Turkish counterpart, Dr. Omar Bolat, and other
international delegates. Additionally, an extended meeting with the Turkish
side of the joint business council is planned.
The Egyptian Trade Office in Turkey has organized meetings with key Turkish business associations, including the Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the Contractors Association, the Turkish Independent Manufacturers Association, and the Association of Automobile Components Manufacturers. Minister Al-Khatib will also engage with leading Turkish companies operating in sectors such as furniture, construction, apparel, retail, industrial development, leather, ceramics, asset management, and woodworking.
