ENPPI targets global growth by 2028

Engineer Karim Badawy, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, has emphasized the importance of integrated work in supporting the national economy. This will be achieved by leveraging the capabilities, potential, and expertise of Egyptian petroleum companies, and by forming partnerships with specialized global companies possessing advanced technologies to execute new and diverse projects of global interest, both domestically and internationally.

During a meeting with the leadership of the Engineering for Petroleum and Process Industries Company (ENPPI), attended by Engineer Wael Lotfy, the company's chairman, and Engineer Moataz Atef, the ministry's Undersecretary for the Minister's Office, the technical office, and the official spokesperson, the Minister highlighted the importance of integrated work and a team spirit within the petroleum sector. He emphasized the role of ENPPI as a strategic engineering partner with global companies in executing various large-scale projects, not just those related to fossil fuels.

The Minister outlined the six main axes of the ministry's current strategy, in which ENPPI can participate: meeting the citizens' needs for petroleum products at the lowest cost, maximizing the utilization of petroleum resources through refineries and petrochemicals to achieve added value, achieving a breakthrough in the mining sector and maximizing its added value, working as a team with the electricity and renewable energy sector to restructure Egypt's energy mix, providing an attractive investment environment, and strengthening regional cooperation.

The Minister also held an open dialogue with the company's leadership and employees to learn about their new ideas and future visions to support and develop the company's performance. He reiterated the importance of adhering to safety and occupational health procedures, and of focusing on specialized training programs and the continuous development of human cadres.

At the end of the meeting, Engineer Karim Badawi thanked the company's leaders and employees. He urged them to exert more effort to achieve new accomplishments that would add to the company's distinguished record.
