Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif ELSherbiny, convened a meeting with City Edge Developments officials on Sunday morning. The primary objective was to explore strategies for enhancing City Edge's contribution to the Ministry's real estate development and marketing efforts. The meeting reviewed the marketing progress of several housing projects, with participation from both Ministry and City Edge representatives.
Minister ELSherbiny emphasized the importance of implementing measures to incentivize both investors and individual buyers in the state's newly developed cities. He stressed the need for continuous service provision.
The Minister closely examined
City Edge's sales figures for various New Urban Communities Authority projects,
including those in New Alamein City, the New Administrative Capital, Maspero
Triangle, and New Mansoura. These projects encompassed residential, commercial,
administrative, and recreational units.
He underscored the criticality of
adhering to marketing timelines, conducting ongoing monitoring and evaluation,
and presenting regular progress reports to ensure the achievement of desired
goals, optimal utilization of the Authority's unit inventory, and maximized
financial returns.
Minister ELSherbiny also inquired
about the status of unit delivery to applicants in the new cities, the
operational rates in New Alamein City, and a proposed new service project
within the city. He directed the immediate implementation of this service project,
accompanied by the development of a comprehensive marketing plan and attractive
incentives for investors.
In conclusion, Minister ELSherbiny instructed City Edge officials to devise immediate solutions to meet the established targets and formulate a comprehensive plan to effectively market units within the new cities.
