Orascom Development has announced a key leadership change, appointing Hazem Helal as the new CEO for its prominent integrated communities: O West, Makadi Heights, and Byoum. His role is to enhance performance and create long-term value for the company's three integrated communities.
Hazem Helal will also be a key member of the Orascom Development executive committee, reporting directly to Orascom Development's CEO Omar El Hammamy.
Helal brings a diverse and impressive background to this
leadership position. He began his career at Procter & Gamble between 2004
and 2016, where he rose to the position of commercial director and managed
commercial operations in several Middle Eastern markets.
More recently, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Al Ahli Sports Facilities, leading the development of a new stadium and sports city. Prior to that, he held the position of Commercial Director at Mountain View, where he achieved significant growth, increasing the sales from 2 billion to over 30 billion Egyptian pounds within five years.
