The Eastern Company reported an 86% year-on-year increase in profits for the first half of the current fiscal year. Profits reached 5.38 billion pounds between July and December 2024, compared to 2.89 billion pounds during the same period last fiscal year.
The company's revenues also saw significant growth, rising to 18.45 billion pounds in the first half of the current fiscal year, up from 7.92 billion pounds in the corresponding period of 2023.
Specifically, for the period from July to September 2024, the company achieved a net profit of 1.82 billion pounds, compared to 1.12 billion pounds in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Revenues for this first quarter of the current fiscal year increased to 8.12 billion pounds, compared to 3.12 billion pounds during the same period last year.
