Iron and Steel Co. signs research protocol, reports soaring profits

The Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries has signed a practical cooperation protocol with the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research. This agreement will leverage the Institute's expertise and resources to support the company's scientific projects. The Institute will essentially act as a consultant, providing access to its equipment and capabilities.

This announcement comes as the Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries reports strong financial results. Net profits reached EGP154.91 million between July and December 2024, a significant increase compared to the EGP73.77 million profit reported during the same period in 2023.
