Orascom Construction PLC has disclosed its intention to carry out construction and expansion works at the American University in Cairo, as stated by the company in its statement sent to the stock exchange.
It clarified that the project spans approximately 65 acres and includes the construction of 5 buildings, including laboratory and educational buildings, student housing, an underground service tunnel, and infrastructure works.
The company had announced its business results for the period from 01/01/2024 to 30/09/2024, which showed a consolidated net profit of $87 million, compared to a net profit of $114.8 million achieved by the company during the period from 01/01/2023 to 30/09/2023.
