The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohamed Issa, EiTESAL Association Treasurer, and Dr. Abdel Moneim El-Sharkawy, Academy President

This agreement aims to enhance cooperation between EiTESAL and NAID, to achieve several strategic objectives, most notably: technologically empowering persons with disabilities by developing innovative technical solutions that support their integration into society, cooperation in the fields of scientific research, development, and entrepreneurship in assistive technologies, which contributes to the development of innovative solutions to facilitate the lives of persons with disabilities, developing programs for early detection and intervention to reduce disability, while enhancing rehabilitation services, and providing specialized training programs aimed at raising awareness and empowering individuals with disabilities in the technical and digital fields.

Organizing specialized seminars and conferences to spread the culture of assistive technology and promote its use in various sectors. Launching business incubators and accelerators to support startups working in the field of assistive technology, with the goal of providing advanced technical solutions for people with disabilities.

Commenting on this collaboration, Dr. Mohamed Issa, said, "EiTESAL Association places great importance on assistive technology, including this sector in its incubation programs to support startups and entrepreneurs. The association is committed to providing strong support for innovative projects in the fields of biomedical technology, the development of assistive devices and prosthetics, and empowering entrepreneurs with disabilities to establish their own businesses."

He added that the association is working to provide special incubation programs to support entrepreneurs with disabilities, with the aim of encouraging them to be creative and innovative, and enhancing their role in achieving economic and social development.

This collaboration comes as part of ongoing national efforts to support the rights of persons with disabilities, develop their capabilities, and promote their inclusion in all areas of life, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. This collaboration reflects the commitment of the EiTESAL Association and NAID to providing a supportive environment that enables persons with disabilities to access and benefit from modern technology, enhancing their independence and effective participation in society.
