Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly issued a decree, Sunday, announcing that from Saturday, March 29th, 2025, to Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, will be an official paid holiday for employees in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administrative units, and public sector and public business sector companies, marking Eid al-Fitr.
The decree further states that if the religious sighting of the Shawwal 1446 AH crescent moon determines that Monday, March 31st, 2025, is the first day of Shawwal 1446 AH, the holiday will be extended until Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025.
