Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) leadership and approved an extension of the financial dues relief program, including a 70% waiver of late payment penalties for all outstanding installments if the overdue dues are fully paid.
This applies to residential, administrative, and professional units, commercial shops, and plots of land of various types and areas (residential, commercial, service, investment, industrial, ...), villas, and beach units constructed by the NUCA, for a period of two months from the expiry of the previous deadline.
El-Sherbiny clarified that these facilitations apply in
the following cases: the cases to be allocated, and the cases for which
cancellation decisions have been issued for non-payment of financial dues and
which are still in the client’s possession and have not been withdrawn from the
agency. The facilitations are applied under the following conditions: adherence
to the timings specified for implementation, and waiver of all lawsuits filed
against the NUCA or agencies.
Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, pointed out that these concessions do not apply to lands allocated under the partnership system, nor to lands that have been cancelled, withdrawn, and now in the possession of the Authority. They also do not apply to amounts due for completing the value of advance payments.
