NHC inks sustainability deals for Saudi urban projects

Coinciding with the launch of the Ministry of Economy and Planning's "Sustainability Pioneers Program," the National Housing Company (NHC) signed significant agreements with key players in the real estate development sector. Most notably is Talaat Moustafa Saudi Group.

These agreements represent a major step towards enhancing corporate sustainability, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. NHC has also established similar collaborations with Al Majdiah Residences and ARTAR, owned by Abdul Rahman Saad Al-Rashid & Sons.

 According to a press release, these partnerships aim to foster unique cooperation and develop comprehensive strategies for sustainable economic growth within the Kingdom's urban development projects. NHC's participation in the Sustainability Pioneers Program underscores its commitment to adopting environmentally friendly building materials and technologies.

 The initiative will establish a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and best practices, promoting inclusive growth and widespread adoption of sustainable living practices. It will further empower local companies by providing them with the tools and technologies needed to improve their sustainability reporting and performance.

 The agreements were signed by NHC's CEO, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati. Representing the partner companies were: Ahmed Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Saudi Group, Abdul Salam Al-Majid, Managing Director and Board Member of Al Majdiah Residences, and Engineer Mohammed Al-Adel, Executive Director of Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid & Sons (ARTAR)).
