Egypt invites Korean trade and industry delegations to Cairo

To strengthen ongoing trade and investment cooperation between Egypt and South Korea, and in the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations which will be celebrated in 2025, Khaled Abdel Rahman, the Egyptian Ambassador to South Korea, met with the Chairman and CEO of the Korean Importers Association (KOIMA).

The ambassador acknowledged the positive collaboration between Egypt and KOIMA in recent years. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening and activating this partnership, particularly given the growing ties between the two countries and the vast potential for bilateral advancement.

He also suggested that both Egypt and South Korea participate as guests of honor in various exhibitions held in Cairo and Seoul. This initiative would further enhance Egyptian-South Korean relations in the trade and industry sectors.

The Korean official echoed the Ambassador's sentiments, highlighting the rapid development of bilateral relations over the past decade. He said that cooperation opportunities, especially in trade and industry, could be significantly expanded in a short timeframe.
