Sisi pledges to provide the industrial sector with new, renewable energy

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, Sunday, with Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel el-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport; Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces; Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning; and Major General Ahmed El-Azazy, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.

During the meeting, President Sisi received updates on various industrial and urban development projects. These included plans to modernize the industrial base, secure renewable energy sources like green hydrogen, and localize the production of equipment and transportation domestically.
