An engineering consortium, MDA, has commenced construction on a new iconic tower in the Fifth Settlement area of East Cairo. The alliance, comprised of Mohamed Talaat Architects, Dia Consulting Engineers, and EFFECT Group of Engineering Consultants, is spearheading the project.

of the Board of Directors at Mohamed Talaat Architects, highlighted the
significance of this project as the first iconic tower outside the New
Administrative Capital. Located within a comprehensive residential compound,
the tower is part of a development offering a variety of activities and
services.
The compound, spanning 1,355
feddans, will feature Luxury residential buildings on 215 feddans, distinguished
residential buildings on 85 feddans, a villa area (twin and town) on 47 feddans,
and standalone villas on 37 feddans.
The project will also include a
range of service facilities and infrastructure. These will include a public
services area on 9 feddans, a public transport parking lot, a utilities area,
places of worship, and a medical complex on 40 feddans.
Additionally, the development will feature a financial and business district, multi-purpose areas for investment and commercial activities, such as shopping centers and recreational areas on 77.5 feddans, and a hotel area on 44 feddans.
