Mitsubishi Motors has announced minor updates to its popular Outlander SUV for the 2025 model year, primarily focusing on exterior design enhancements and interior technology improvements.
The 2025 Outlander features a
refreshed front grille and revised taillights, while new 20-inch wheels and a
"Moonstone" exterior colour option are now available. Inside, the SUV
boasts a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a more intuitive
user interface, and upgraded sound systems from Yamaha. Wireless smartphone
charging and expanded connectivity options, including Android Auto
compatibility, have also been added.
Under the hood, the Outlander
retains its plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, combining a 2.4-liter gasoline
engine with electric motors to deliver a total system output of 302 horsepower.
The 2025 model benefits from a larger lithium-ion battery, increasing its
electric-only range to 86 kilometers. The fuel tank capacity has also been
expanded to 53 liters, extending the overall driving range.
The Mitsubishi Outlander 2025 is expected to arrive in European markets later this year.
