Gold prices in Egypt recorded a new increase today, Friday, October 11, 2024, in gold shops and local markets, with a value of EGP20 for 21 karat, which is the most traded karat in the Egyptian market.

This increase comes amid a rise in global gold prices, which reached $2658 per ounce.

Gold prices in Egypt today:

14 karat: EGP 2397

18 karat: EGP 3081

21 karat: EGP 3595

24 karat: EGP 4108 for sale.

Global gold prices:

The ounce recorded $2658, reinforcing the upward trend of gold in both global and local markets.

Gold pound price in Egypt:

The price of the gold pound increased by 160 Egyptian pounds to reach EGP 28,760 for sale.

Gold manufacturing cost:

The manufacturing cost of gold varies depending on the dealer and the region, ranging between EGP 100 and EGP 150 per gram.

This increase is due to global factors affecting precious metals markets, including geopolitical tensions and the movement of the US dollar.
