The New Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company has revealed new details regarding an electronic application that will be dedicated to the residents of the mega-city, according to a statement by the company's chairman, Engineer Khaled Abbas.
Abbas stated that all services provided
in the New Administrative Capital, including utilities, transportation, and
financial matters, will be linked through a unified application as part of the
company's efforts to make the city fully smart. He noted that the application
will be launched in the near future.
During his speech at the second
Qatar Real Estate Forum held in Doha today, Monday, Abbas indicated that one of
the biggest challenges facing the New Administrative Capital Company is
changing the mindset of citizens. He pointed out that all government ministries
and agencies are now buildings without walls, and they are controlled by
cameras and modern systems, which represents a significant shift in people's
thinking.
He noted that the government's
move to operate from the New Administrative Capital is the greatest support for
the capital's concept, adding that the Egyptian state had studied the
experiences of other countries before embarking on the New Administrative
Capital project.
