Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, met with Kanazawa Yukio, a legendary figure in Japanese real estate and owner of Titan Capital, and Niwa Kashira, Chairman of the company, on Sunday. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for cooperation in the field of real estate development, localize modern technologies in Egypt, and present investment opportunities available to Japanese companies and investors in Egypt.
The Minister of Housing emphasized
the deep and solid relations between Egypt and Japan. He highlighted the government's
commitment to strengthening cooperation with all Japanese companies and
investors in the ministry's areas of work, and to providing all forms of
support to Japanese investors and companies for the mutual benefit of both
parties.
El Sherbiny explained that over
the past 10 years since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi assumed office, Egypt
has achieved significant urban development across all sectors, particularly in
the development of fourth-generation cities. These smart, green, and
sustainable cities offer immense opportunities for real estate investment in
all its forms, as well as investment opportunities in various other fields, in
addition to the opportunities available in previous generations of new cities.
The Minister pointed out that
numerous investment opportunities are available in the New Administrative Capital,
New Alamein City, New Mansoura City, and other fourth-generation cities. These
opportunities range from integrated urban projects to service projects and
industrial projects that can be implemented in partnership within the
industrial zones of these cities.
The Minister of Housing invited
the Japanese real estate legend to participate in the World Urban Forum, which
Egypt will host from November 4th to 8th. This event will see the participation
of a wide range of international delegations from approximately 175 countries,
including both government officials and private sector representatives. The
Minister noted that the presence of Titan Capital at this forum will provide a
significant opportunity for the company to explore Arab and African markets and
sign numerous cooperation agreements.
Kanazawa Yukio affirms his desire
to transfer a significant portion of his investments to Egypt, amounting to 8
billion dollars, due to Egypt's promising investment market and its strategic
location as a gateway to the Arab and African markets.
The Japanese real estate legend
explained that his investor partners are keen to form an investment alliance
based in Egypt as a launchpad for the Arab and African market. He added that he
invites his investor friends from America and Europe to invest in Egypt, the promising
market.
Yukio emphasized his desire to strengthen and deepen cooperation with the Egyptian government and implement numerous investment projects for the mutual benefit of both parties. He mentioned that he currently has a partnership project with the Ministry of Military Production to produce a device that generates water from water vapour in the air, and production will begin soon to meet the needs of the Egyptian market and for export.
