Dalia Khorshid, CEO of Beltone, makes Forbes List for second time

Dr. Dalia Khorshid, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Beltone Holding, has been recognized by Forbes Middle East as one of the 100 most powerful businesswomen in the Middle East for 2025. This recognition celebrates Dr. Khorshid's successful leadership of the company since assuming her role in 2022. Under her guidance, Beltone Holding has expanded its operations through strategic partnerships across Egypt and the region. A key example of this expansion is the partnership between Beltone Capital, a subsidiary of Beltone Holding, and an Italian group to launch a new credit rating services company in the Egyptian market. This initiative underscores the company's broader strategy to broaden its financial service offerings in the Middle East and North Africa.

Forbes recognized Dr. Khorshid's leadership in driving Beltone Holding's remarkable growth. The company closed 2024 with record net profits of 1.7 billion Egyptian pounds, a 4.6-fold increase compared to 2023. This exceptional performance was fueled by strong results across all subsidiaries within the non-banking financial activities platform, as well as the investment banking platform's outstanding achievements. Her strategy, focused on leveraging data science and enhancing operational efficiency, was instrumental in this significant leap forward.

Khorshid's career is marked by significant achievements across major Egyptian companies and economic entities spanning banking, non-banking financial services, and contracting. Her previous roles include Minister of Investment in Egypt, founder and chair of Masar Financial Consulting Company and Eagle Capital for Financial Investments, and Chair of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.

This year's list of the 100 most powerful businesswomen in the Middle East showcases the region's diverse leadership talent, featuring women from 32 sectors and 29 nationalities who are driving progress. The banking and financial services sector remains the list's dominant force, with 25 leading women represented.

Notably, Dr. Dalia Khorshid was also recognized by Forbes Middle East magazine as a "Sustainability Leader in the Middle East for 2024" in the Green Finance category. This distinction acknowledges her active role in reducing carbon emissions and managing partnerships focused on achieving sustainability. She was the sole woman selected in this category.
