Engineer Mohamed Salah El Din Moustafa, Minister of State for Military Production, conducted a surprise inspection visit to Helwan Non-Ferrous Industries Company (Military Factory 63). The visit aimed to closely monitor ongoing projects, discuss development strategies, and ensure employee welfare.

The minister visited the company at the beginning of the workday to personally observe the production process, evaluate adherence to schedules and daily production targets, and emphasize the importance of strict compliance with quality, safety, and maintenance standards. He also stressed the need for proactive problem-solving and ensured the availability of spare parts for operating equipment, inventory levels, and industry insights.

During the visit, the minister listened to a presentation by Engineer Mohamed El Ashmawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors, on the company's performance, production indicators, and recent contracts with both domestic and international entities. These contracts aim to introduce advanced manufacturing technologies to the company's production lines.

Military Factory 63 plays a crucial role in the Military Production sector. It produces a range of semi-finished raw materials, including copper and aluminium alloys, which are essential for ammunition production. The company also manufactures various copper and aluminium products used in the production of small, medium, and heavy ammunition. Furthermore, it leverages its excess capacity to supply low-voltage overhead conductors to the civilian market. The company also produces low-voltage cables insulated with PVC and XLPE materials.
