Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, chaired a comprehensive meeting on Saturday morning at the New Alamein City Authority headquarters. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of various development projects in the western North Coast region, undertaken by the New Urban Communities Authority and its affiliated entities. Ministry officials, representatives from the New Urban Communities Authority, and heads of new city authorities in the western North Coast attended the meeting.
The Minister of Housing issued a series of directives to Authority officials and heads of new city authorities in the western North Coast. These directives emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of project implementation, complete and deliver housing units to New Alamein City residents, expedite work in the Shams Al Hikma and West Dabaa areas, and swiftly finalize projects in the Marina El Alamein tourist center.
Additionally, he instructed the expedited completion of the design work for the lakes south of the coastal international road, aiming to initiate their implementation and maximize land utilization in the area. He also ordered the swift implementation of strategic plans for all lands transferred to the New Urban Communities Authority in the western North Coast sector, prioritizing land utilization.
