The National Post Authority announced the resumption of selling application forms for the social housing initiative 'Housing for All Egyptians, Fifth Announcement.' Citizens wishing to apply for housing units within this initiative can now purchase application forms and pay the earnest money at post offices nationwide, starting from Wednesday, December 4, 2024, until Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Dalia El Baz, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Post Authority, stated that, "Post offices experienced significant demand for application forms on the first day of sales for the social housing initiative 'Housing for All Egyptians, Fifth Announcement.' To facilitate the process and prevent overcrowding, the National Post Authority, in coordination with the Social Housing Fund, has increased the number of participating post offices to 590 nationwide. This expansion aims to ensure the availability of forms in all governorates and maintain a high level of service quality."
She added that application forms
are readily available at post offices in all cities and governorates where
housing units are offered. The sale period will continue until Tuesday,
December 31, 2024. To avoid unnecessary crowding, the authority emphasizes that
the order of purchase will not be considered.
El Baz explained that the authority has established a central operations room to monitor the sale of forms and deposit payments nationwide. This monitoring system will ensure the efficient allocation of forms to each governorate, facilitating the process for citizens and preventing shortages at post offices. With 590 post offices across the country offering the service, the authority aims to provide convenient access to application forms for all interested citizens.
