Following his visit to Denmark, the first leg of his current European tour, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi headed to Oslo, Norway, today, Sunday. During his visit, he will meet with the King of Norway, the Prime Minister, and several senior officials and leaders of major Norwegian companies.
He concluded his visit to Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday evening by hosting a dinner in honor of His Majesty King Frederick X. The dinner aimed to strengthen political, economic, and cultural ties based on mutual respect and true friendship.
The President emphasized that his
visit to Denmark, which included meetings with the King, the Prime Minister,
and the Speaker of Parliament, demonstrated a shared vision for deepening
Egyptian-Danish relations across all levels. He noted the signing of a joint declaration
with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to elevate bilateral relations to a
strategic partnership. Furthermore, the successful Economic Conference, during
which the Egyptian-Danish Business Council was launched, and the signing of
several Memoranda of Understanding for cooperation in areas of mutual interest
were significant achievements.
His visit to Norway is
anticipated to include several meetings to discuss bilateral relations and
address regional and international issues. Notably, he will meet with leaders
of numerous Norwegian companies operating in Egypt. Additionally, several
cooperation agreements are expected to be signed between Cairo and Oslo across
various sectors during the visit.
It is worth noting that President Sisi's European tour will conclude with a visit to Ireland, after Denmark and Norway.
