Lamar exports its products to 28 countries

On a recent visit to Beheira Governorate, Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly toured the Lamar farm and factory, owned by Alexandria Agricultural Company. Engineer Hany Talaat Moustafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, highlighted the success of their Egyptian-made agricultural and processing products. He emphasized that these high-quality products not only fulfil local market needs but have also achieved a strong presence in international markets.

Engineer Hany Talaat Moustafa, during his presentation on the operations of Alexandria Agricultural Company (Lamar), emphasized that their motto, 'From Farm to Package,' is more than just a slogan. Lamar owns 12,000 cows of the finest Holstein breeds at their 2,700-acre farm, producing a total of 60,000 tons of milk annually. Lamar's natural juices are also produced using the best global practices in agriculture, production, and packaging.

He added that since its founding in 1985, the company has prioritized two key areas: investing in Egypt's natural resources and agricultural potential, and bringing in the world's best agricultural processing expertise. This commitment allows them to achieve a fully sustainable production system with unwavering quality. Their process encompasses everything from cultivating feed for their cows and raising healthy calves to milk production, pasteurization, and final packaging. Notably, the entire process, from farm to package, leverages the latest global technologies for filling and packaging, minimizing human intervention and ensuring the highest quality standards. All their products adhere to strict official quality control regulations.

Engineer Hany Talaat Moustafa showcased Lamar's diverse product portfolio, which encompasses 61 products in various sizes. These products include:

-Full-fat, semi-skimmed, and skim milk

-Lactose-free and sweetened milk

-Assorted creams

-Plant-based milk (almond, oat, and coconut)

-100% natural Lamar juices without added sugar

Most of Lamar's juices contain locally produced concentrates, such as guava, mango, tomato, and orange.

Engineer Mohamed Hany, Deputy CEO of the company, emphasized Lamar's expanding international reach, with a presence in 28 countries, including Saudi Arabia and the Maldives. Lamar is also one of the first companies to export 100% natural pomegranate juice to Japan, marking a presence in the country for over three years.
