Eastern National Food Security Company is exploring a potential collaboration with Mountain Apex to produce high-quality protein powder from poultry by-products. This partnership aims to establish a production line with a capacity of approximately 400 tons per month, primarily for export. Mountain Apex brings valuable expertise in the production and export of such products.
The company announced today to the Egyptian Exchange that this proposed cooperation will be presented to the upcoming board of directors meeting for approval. Furthermore, Eastern National Food Security Company intends to pursue similar collaborations with other specialized companies in the near future. This strategy aligns with the company's recent amendment of its purpose, which now includes the establishment of a dry port for container storage for third parties and a production line for processing, packing, and filling fruits, vegetables, and various concentrates.
It is noteworthy that Eastern National Food Security Company reported a net loss of 1.46 million Egyptian pounds during the period from January to September 2024. This represents a significant improvement compared to the losses of 6.06 million Egyptian pounds incurred during the same period in the last year.
