Gobran warns of strict action against non-compliant Hajj recruitment companies

Minister of Labor Mohamed Gobran met with representatives of overseas recruitment companies authorized to send Egyptian workers to work during the Hajj season of the Hijri year 1446. The meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting focused on finalizing preparations and procedures for the deployment of Egyptian workers during the upcoming Hajj season (Hijri year 1446).

The Minister underscored the ministry's commitment to fostering strong coordination and cooperation with recruitment companies. This collaboration aims to ensure the well-being of Egyptian workers seeking employment during the Hajj season. Key priorities include providing comfortable and supportive accommodations, facilitating the process of obtaining necessary documents, and addressing any challenges faced by recruitment companies during the 2025 Hajj season preparations. The Minister emphasized that the ministry will not tolerate any company that fails to adhere to all agreed-upon terms and procedures.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Labor: Ehab Abdelatty, Legal Advisor to the minister, Mohamed El-Nahhas, Director General of Political Communication, Sayed El-Sharqawy, Director General of Labor Inspection, Walid Abdel-Razeq, Director General of Trade Union Communication, and Nasra Salem, Representative of the General Administration for Overseas Recruitment Companies. Additionally, Major General Emad El-Daragly, a Member of Parliament and member of the Parliament's Tourism and Aviation Committee, participated in the meeting.
