El-Sisi discusses boosting investments in New Administrative Capital

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, Thursday, with Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Engineer Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Administrative Capital company, and Major General Ahmed Al-Azzazi, head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.

The official spokesman for the Presidency stated that the President was briefed during the meeting on the progress of several Ministry of Housing projects, investment development plans for urban areas, and the ongoing construction work in the facilities and infrastructure of the New Administrative Capital. The construction is being carried out in accordance with the highest international standards in smart city management.

President Sisi was briefed on the advancements of the New Administrative Capital Company's activities in investment, development, and marketing. This included an update on the efforts of the Central Business District management in the New Administrative Capital and the strategies for promoting and attracting global investments to this ambitious project, which aims to rival the world's leading financial and business centers.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the official spokesperson, stated that the President emphasized the continued intensification of government efforts to ensure the implementation of sound resource and asset governance in ongoing projects, adhering to the highest international standards.

The President also stressed the importance of ensuring that new state-led projects are aligned with the national strategy for achieving economic development and attracting increased foreign investment.

The President emphasized the critical importance of regular monitoring of all executive works in the Central Business District. This includes close collaboration with implementing companies, adhering to a detailed and specific timeline. Continuous follow-up with operators is also essential, with strict adherence to the highest quality standards and the utilization of the latest technologies.
