President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, Tuesday, with Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank, Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority, and Major General Ahmed Al-Azzazi, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
The official spokesman for the Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the Central Bank's efforts to modernize Egypt's financial sector. Key topics included the development of robust digital infrastructure and regulatory frameworks to support financial technology (FinTech) and digital payments.
