Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, concluded his tour of 15th of May City with an inspection of 'Housing for All Egyptians' initiative units in Al-Narges, as well as the Eastern Expansion Water Pumping Station and its water transmission lines. He was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, the Water and Wastewater Regulatory Authority and Consumer Protection Agency, the city authority, and project managers.
During his visit to the 9,300 square meter pumping station, Minister El-Sherbiny reviewed the progress of work and received a detailed explanation of the water transmission lines. These lines supply the Eastern Expansion areas, including social housing and 'Beit Watan', as well as existing social housing, compound developments, and the university area.
The Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining the
highest operational and maintenance standards at the water pumping station to
ensure enhanced drinking water services for social housing, eastern expansions,
and future developments in 15th of May City.
While touring the 'Housing for All Egyptians' project for
low-income residents in Al-Narges, he inspected a model unit and assessed the
construction progress. The project, which includes 465 buildings and 11,160
housing units, is proceeding at an advanced pace.
Furthermore, El-Sherbiny directed the swift completion of remaining utility works, road infrastructure, and site landscaping for the Al-Narges 'Housing for All Egyptians' initiative. He stressed the need for contractors to adhere to the established timelines for project.
