Global gold market experiences
slight dip
On the global front, gold prices
dipped by 1% today, reaching their lowest point in four trading sessions at
$2,413 per ounce. This comes after an opening price of $2,444 per ounce. As of
the latest Gold Bullion technical report, gold is currently trading at $2,418
per ounce.
Despite the slight decline, gold
prices remain on track for a fourth consecutive weekly increase. This comes
after reaching a record high of $2,483 per ounce earlier this week.
The US dollar rose for the second
day in a row, narrowing its losses this week that had pushed it to its lowest
level in four months, finding some support from US industrial sector data
released yesterday.
