Gold prices in Egypt hold steady on July 22nd

Egyptian gold prices show stability across the board today, Monday, July 22nd, 2024.

Global gold market experiences slight dip

On the global front, gold prices dipped by 1% today, reaching their lowest point in four trading sessions at $2,413 per ounce. This comes after an opening price of $2,444 per ounce. As of the latest Gold Bullion technical report, gold is currently trading at $2,418 per ounce.

Despite the slight decline, gold prices remain on track for a fourth consecutive weekly increase. This comes after reaching a record high of $2,483 per ounce earlier this week.

The US dollar rose for the second day in a row, narrowing its losses this week that had pushed it to its lowest level in four months, finding some support from US industrial sector data released yesterday.
