Ezz El Arab Group, the exclusive Ferrari distributor in Egypt, is set to unveil two iconic grand touring cars: the Roma Spider and the Purosangue, for the first time in the Egyptian market. The grand reveal will take place on August 20th at the Italian marque's Ferrari showroom in Sheikh Zayed.
The Ferrari Roma Spider was first
unveiled in March 2023 as the convertible version of the Ferrari Roma, which
was previously introduced in Egypt during the brand's launch event two years
ago. The Spider is the first front-engine Ferrari model to feature a
convertible top, marking a 55-year gap since the last model of this type, the
1969 365 GTS4.
The Ferrari Roma's heart is a potent 3.9-liter V8 turbocharged engine, unleashing an impressive 612 horsepower and 761 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission.
As for the highly anticipated
Purosangue, set to make its debut in Egypt, it's a high-performance SUV that
was globally unveiled in September 2022. Marking a significant departure from
Ferrari's traditionally two-door sports cars, the Purosangue is the automaker's
first four-door production model. Built on the same platform as the Ferrari
Roma coupe, the Purosangue is poised to rival the likes of the Lamborghini Urus
and Aston Martin DBX.
The Ferrari Purosangue is named
after a breed of horses developed in 19th-century Italy. These horses were
primarily Arabian, sourced from Syria, Mesopotamia, and the stables of Egypt's
Abbas Pasha.
The Purosangue is propelled by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, generating a formidable 715 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and achieves a top speed of 310 km/h.
