6th International LED Technology Exhibition kicks off August 29th

The 6th edition of the International LED Technology, Modern and Decorative Lighting Systems, and Electronic Components Exhibition (LED MIDDLE EAST LIGHTING EXPO) will take place from August 29-31 at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City.

This exhibition is a leading platform in Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa, showcasing the latest advancements in LED technology, lighting solutions, and electronic components. Visitors can explore a wide range of products and services, including: LED systems and applications, modern indoor and outdoor lighting supplies, site and project lighting, all types of lighting, electronic displays, solar-powered lighting systems, and electronic components.

The exhibition is supported by major national companies and international manufacturers, who will present their innovative solutions to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient and sustainable lighting.

Building on the success of previous editions, the 6th LED MIDDLE EAST LIGHTING EXPO is expected to attract thousands of industry professionals from Egypt, the Arab world, Africa, and beyond.

The exhibition aligns with the government's initiative to transition from traditional lighting systems to more energy-efficient alternatives. This shift is crucial for reducing harmful environmental emissions, in addition to reducing the import of energy derivatives needed to operate power plants, saving billions of dollars in foreign currency and pumping it into other channels to support the national economy, in addition to the exhibition coinciding with the state's economic development plan, as energy consumption has developed significantly in recent years.

Improving energy efficiency is crucial to combat climate change and ensure sustainable growth. To address these challenges, the government has implemented a national energy efficiency plan. This plan aims to achieve a 5% reduction in energy consumption across various sectors, including households, public lighting, water stations, sanitation, and others, over the next five years.

Hisham Roshdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the exhibition's organizing company, emphasized the 6th edition's potential to offer significant business opportunities for participating companies. By directly participating in the most effective business platform, companies can expand their customer base and attract investments in one of the world's most dynamic business regions.

He also highlighted the extensive marketing efforts undertaken to attract both domestic and international participants. Agents in Arab, foreign, and African countries, including China, Turkey, India, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and others, have been actively promoting the exhibition. The strong interest from foreign companies underscores the importance of the Egyptian market in the lighting industry and Egypt's strategic position as a gateway to Africa. Moreover, the exhibition enjoys the support of major national and international lighting manufacturers.
