For the second consecutive week, Orascom Construction and Talaat Moustafa Group shares led the Egyptian Exchange in terms of trading activity. Together, these companies generated a combined trading volume of approximately 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds.
Orascom Construction PLC secured
the top spot on the main market, excluding block deals. The company's shares
traded at a value of 1.47 billion Egyptian pounds, with a volume of 4.9 million
shares exchanged.
Talaat Moustafa Holding Company
claimed the second position, recording a trading value of 1.07 billion Egyptian
pounds and a volume of 18.5 million shares.
EFG Hermes Holding Group shares
ranked third with a trading value of 911.6 million Egyptian pounds and a
trading volume of 42.9 million shares.
Eastern Company for Carpets
shares secured the fourth position with a trading value of 899.96 million
Egyptian pounds with a volume of 28.97 million shares.
The Commercial International
Bank-Egypt ranked fifth, with a trading value of 870 million Egyptian pounds
and a trading volume of 11 million shares.
Palm Hills Development came in sixth, recording a trading value of 775 million Egyptian pounds and a volume of 137.8 million shares.
