Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Oman, Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Sha'ili, along with his accompanying delegation met with Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG), Mr. Hisham Talaat Moustafa, and a number of senior Group leaders. Both discussed ways of joint cooperation in the field of urban development between the two parties.
This meeting took place within the context of Dr. Al
Sha'ili's official visit to Egypt. The objective of the visit is to gain
knowledge about the Egyptian experience in urban development and to present
investment opportunities in Oman’s real estate investment and urban development
sectors.
The two sides discussed opportunities for joint cooperation,
where Mr. Hisham Talaat highlighted the Group's history of pioneering real
estate development within Egypt through the development of fully serviced
cities and thriving residential communities such as Rehab City, Madinaty, and
the upcoming Noor project.
Hisham Talaat referred to the Banan City project in Saudi
Arabia, of which the cornerstone was laid last Saturday, May 11, 2024. He also
shed light on the Group's expansions in the hotel sector through the
acquisition of seven unique hotels.
Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Sha'ili, the Omani Minister of
Housing and Urban Planning, along with his delegation, presented investment
opportunities in Oman's real estate development sector In response, a visit to
Oman by a delegation from Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) was agreed upon to
explore these opportunities firsthand.
