The committee overseeing gasoline and diesel prices in the United Arab Emirates has approved a reduction in fuel prices for the month of December 2024. According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), diesel prices have decreased to 2.68 dirhams per liter, while super gasoline (98 octane) has reached 2.61 dirhams per liter. Regular gasoline (95 octane) is now 2.50 dirhams per liter, and E-Plus 91 gasoline is priced at 2.43 dirhams per liter. This decision follows a global decline in crude oil prices.
The new fuel prices in the UAE are effective as of Sunday, December 1st, until the end of the month. Furthermore, fuel distribution companies in the country have announced that the prices include a 5% value-added tax.
