Saudi Arabia plans to add 1 million barrels per day to its oil production by September 2026, according to a statement from the eight countries of the OPEC+ alliance committed to voluntary cuts.
The country's oil production will increase from around 8.9 million barrels per day in January 2025 to approximately 9.4 million barrels per day in December 2025, and is expected to reach 9.9 million barrels per day in September 2026.
A few days ago, the OPEC+ alliance has postponed increasing oil supplies for the third time. The group has decided to start with a modest production hike in April, then increase production over 18 months at a slower pace than previously planned.
