Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Dr Mohammed bin Suliman Al Muaikli, General Manager of the Global Model Insulation Factory for Saudi Industry, inaugurated the Nanoman Egypt Middle East project. This collaborative venture brings together the Saqr Advanced Industries Factory, a subsidiary of the Organization, and the Global Model Insulation Factory of Saudi Industry.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Engineer Abdul Rahman Abdul Azim Othman, General Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Major General Dr. Engineer Khaled Shokry, Advisor to the President of the Organisation for Chemical Industries, Major General Engineer Wael Suleiman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saqr Advanced Industries Factory, Dr. Mohammed Hussein Douidar, Managing Director and CEO of Nanoman Egypt Factory, and Major General Jamal Abul Enein, Advisor to the Commander of the Chemical Defence in the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates.
This advanced industrial project
using nanotechnology is the second of its kind in the Middle East and the first
of its kind in Egypt.
During the inauguration, Major
General Engr. Mokhtar Abdel Latif expressed his gratitude for the collaboration
with the Global Model Insulation Factory for Saudi Industry. He highlighted the
Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to forging strong
strategic partnerships with leading Saudi companies. He emphasized the
organization's dedication to expanding joint cooperation in areas such as
technology transfer and research and development to meet the demands of the
local market and facilitate exports to African and Arab nations.
He explained that this initiative
primarily aims to localize the nanotechnology industry within Egypt,
transforming it into a cornerstone of the national industrial landscape. This
endeavor seeks to enhance overall well-being through a cleaner environment,
reduced consumption of resources, and improved health and safety. By minimizing
the use of harmful chemicals and promoting environmental sustainability, this
initiative contributes to a greener future. Furthermore, it aims to optimize
efficiency, reduce costs across all manufacturing sectors, meet local and
international demands with high-quality products, expand the customer base, and
foster a sustainable future for generations.
He added that this initiative
aligns with the implementation of an ambitious, scientifically-driven plan to
leverage the advanced manufacturing capabilities of nanotechnology across all
production sectors within the Arab Organization for Industrialization's
factories and companies. This endeavor is in direct support of Egypt's Vision
2030 for sustainable development.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Suliman Al Muaikli, General Manager of the Global Model Insulation Factory for Saudi Industry, expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, a cornerstone of Egypt's industrial sector. He expressed his aspiration to collaborate on localizing nanotechnology through the application of Egyptian ingenuity and creativity. He emphasized leveraging the Organization's exceptional manufacturing capabilities and human expertise in the field of nanotechnology.
