Taqa Arabia wins Safaga industrial zone contract

Taqa Arabia Company has signed a cooperation protocol with the Economic Authority of the Golden Triangle, aimed at developing and providing essential services for investors within the industrial zone in Safaga City, Red Sea Governorate.

According to a statement, both parties have agreed to collaborate on the implementation of infrastructure for the industrial zone. This includes the construction and operation of electricity networks using either traditional solutions or renewable energy alternatives.

The cooperation encompasses the development of crucial infrastructure, including the establishment of natural gas distribution networks, either by connecting to the national grid or using compressed gas, as well as providing water suitable for industrial and agricultural uses, implementing sanitary and industrial sewage networks, in addition to facilities for distributing petroleum products and waste management to ensure sustainable development.

It is worth noting that Taqa Arabia recorded a net profit of 424.87 million Egyptian pounds during the period from January to the end of September 2023, compared to 364.98 million pounds during the same period of the previous year.
