Housing Minister inspects Fustat Hills Park progress

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inspected the Fustat Hills Park project in Old Cairo, the largest park of its kind in the Middle East. The 500-acre park is located in the heart of historic Cairo. Officials from the Ministry, the Central Agency for Reconstruction, and the companies implementing the project were also present.

El-Sherbiny emphasized the political leadership's interest in the project and stressed the importance of completing it on time, requiring the mobilization of all resources. He reviewed a presentation detailing the project's progress, including the investment area, hills area, markets area, cultural area, site coordination and plantations, river area, Egyptian Cairo Club, museum warehouse, and infrastructure works.

The Minister directed continuous monitoring of the project's progress, emphasizing the swift completion of infrastructure work to accelerate overall construction. He instructed the companies involved to integrate their efforts and submit a comprehensive project report every 48 hours for his review. He also called for a meeting with the companies to further coordinate their work.
