Aduna, a consortium of leading telecom companies and Ericsson, announced Monday that e&, a global technology powerhouse, has joined as a key contributing partner. The announcement was made by Hatem Dowidar, Group CEO of e&, during his keynote at Mobile World Congress 2025.
This strategic partnership integrates e&'s extensive network APIs into Aduna's rapidly expanding global platform, spanning the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe. With operations in 20 countries, e& will significantly broaden Aduna's reach, particularly in emerging markets, accelerating the global adoption of standardized network APIs.
By joining Aduna, e& empowers developers with access to
standardized network features, enhancing service quality, fraud prevention,
security, and revenue generation.
"As a contributing partner, we will fuel innovation and
growth by leveraging Aduna's platform," stated Hatem Dowidar. "We are
excited to collaborate with Ericsson and global telecom operators to unlock new
opportunities for e& and our customers, driving digital transformation
across our markets."
Harrison Lung, Group Chief Strategy Officer at e&,
expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna,
welcomed e&'s participation, highlighting its significant geographical
footprint and its contribution to building a robust global network API
ecosystem.
Aduna provides network APIs based on the CAMARA open-source
project, led by the GSMA and the Linux Foundation, to a diverse ecosystem of
developer platforms, including hyperscalers, CPaaS providers, and ISVs. Its
membership includes major telecom players such as América Móvil, AT&T,
Deutsche Telekom, and Vodafone.
Launched in September 2024, Aduna aims to simplify global
access to network APIs. The e& partnership is expected to finalize later
this year, pending regulatory approvals.
