To better serve citizens during Ramadan, the National Postal Authority has adjusted operating hours for all post offices, postal kiosks, and mobile post offices nationwide. Some offices will also be open on Fridays and Saturdays, and main offices will extend hours into the evening.
Dalia Al-Baz, Chairperson of the National Postal Authority, announced these changes, stating that the Authority has implemented measures to ensure easy access to Egyptian Post services during Ramadan. The new schedule shifts the morning hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for all of its over 4,600 locations. Main offices, postal kiosks, and mobile post offices in all governorates will also offer an evening shift, operating until 4:00 PM.
To further enhance service accessibility during Ramadan, Al-Baz
detailed additional operational adjustments. One hundred post offices
nationwide will offer extended evening hours, operating from 8:00 PM to 11:00
PM. Additionally, select post offices, postal kiosks, and mobile units will be
open on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
To ensure efficient express shipping and parcel delivery, main distribution centers will operate an evening shift from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Al-Baz emphasized that the Authority's central monitoring and control room will oversee all operations throughout Ramadan, ensuring consistent service quality and addressing any potential challenges faced by staff.
